Worship leader Mang read out Matthew 8:28-29, and committed the worship service to the Lord in prayer. The worship team led the congregation with a lively praise and worship session. Upa H Kam Suanthang dedicated the offerings to the Almighty.

Greeting the congregation, Pastor T Lamkhanthang introduced the guest speaker Rev. S. Lianminthang Vaiphei, IEM and his family, Mr. Jamir, and Ms. Luanzawlching. Pastor Thang invited the congregation to participate in great number for the upcoming program titled “Jesu Neih Ka Utzaw” which will be held on 2 March, and extended his invitation for the weekday worship service held every Wednesday at 3:00PM, specially targeted for those who could not attend the Sunday service due to their job. Pastor also gave a brief report on several church-related programs that were successfully held in the past week –Mentoring & Discipleship Seminar, EBCC Delhi Papila Futsal Tournament, BYF Fellowship, and thanked the Lord for these programs. Pastor Thang read out Revelations 2: 18-23, and led the congregation in mass prayer.

Ms. Luanzawlching, WEC Missionary gave a short sharing. Reading Romans 8:28, Isaiah 60:22, she shared her testimony, and spoke about how she received God’s calling to be a missionary. She challenged the congregation to pursue holy character and behavior because we will one day stand before the Lord.

Guest speaker Rev. S. Lianminthang Vaiphei, IEM delivered a sermon on the topic “Finding the Lord’s Will”. Reading from Romans 12:1-2, he spoke about God’s will for our lives as-

  • God’s will is good – recalling his past missionary journey and how God never left him, the speaker said that there is blessing in following God’s will just as Abraham received God’s gracious heavenly gift when he left behind his home to obey God’s commandment.
  • God’s will is pleasing – the speaker spoke on how he received God’s transformation through his experience in the year 1993, when he was asked to visit Assam missionary field, and that prompted him to work as a missionary till this day. He added that God, through His transformative power made it possible for some places in Arunachal Pradesh to have an Evangelist, school teacher, and newly baptized believers, where such were non-existent earlier.
  • God’s will is perfect – reading out Ephesians 2:10, and Jeremiah 10:23, the speaker urged the congregation to surrender ourselves to God’s renewing power so that He can work out His perfect plan for our lives.
  • God’s will always include certain feature –reading from 1Thessalonians 4:3-7, the speaker stated that God purposefully redeem us to be holy, so we must submit our minds and bodies to be His instrument.

The speaker concluded his sermon by reminding the congregation that in whatever we do Christ is to have a preeminence in our lives, and that our lives should be a worship to God.

Pastor Thang and the church Elders invoked the blessing of the Almighty for our Guest Speaker, Rev. S. Lianminthang, IEM and his family.

Local Chairman, TBUC announced 11 newly registered church members. Pastor Thang read out Deuteronomy 28:1-6, and prayed over them for their stay in Delhi.

Led by the worship team, the congregation sang together the last hymn, and Pastor Thang closed the worship service.
